Cambodian New Year
Christina and I accompanied her mother this weekend to a Cambodian New Year's celebration at a Dallas-area Buddhist temple. We had actually been out to the temple the weekend before as well since her mom had gotten the date wrong. I just received my first half-decent phishing attempt in an email. I've received several of them from PayPal before but never actually believed any of those for a minute. Christmas 2004
Reesey was a good puppy all weekend long. She played non-stop and slept the rest of the time, pretty much staying out of trouble. Her grandma even gave her tons of presents. She's got enough treats to survive a nuclear war. School holidays kick ass!
My five mile drive to work this morning took only 10 minutes, or approximately 15 minutes less than normal. Apparently about 75% of the 234,000 people that live in Plano are stay-at-home moms, because there was absolutely no one on the road this morning. Reesey is sick
We had to take Reesey to the emergency clinic tonight. She's been a little sick (but still peppy) since we got back into town and when we took her in she was dehydrated and something wrong with the concentration of her blood. Willie's Picnic
Overall, Willie's 4th of July Picnic was really fun and something I would recommend to fans of Willie or country music in general. Every morning we have to mop up the kitchen floor because Reesey pisses all over it. She tries her best to hold it and wait till morning, but her tiny little bladder can't make it. Two things I can't stand
There's two things that have always disturbed me that people do: eat ranch dressing on pizza and dip french fries into Frostys. That's fucking weird and it needs to be stopped. Okay, my interview today is on Lamar and 6th and I knew the traffic was a bitch there, but I didn't know it was this bad. I've got tons to do today...
So I've got an interview tomorrow with Whole Foods. I'm really excited about it because it's a friggin' awesome company, its in downtown Austin, the pay is decent, the job sounds good, I wouldn't have to program Java etc, and I would be able to travel. I'm stressed
My current and future job(s) are adding up to really stress the shit out of me right now. I'm tired and I'm tired of being tired. I'm couting the days, hours, and minutes till I'm done as a teacher.
