eBay phishing scam
I just received my first half-decent phishing attempt in an email. I've received several of them from PayPal before but never actually believed any of those for a minute. I don't know why, maybe I just wasn't paying very close attention, but I actually fell for this one at first and had to read it closely before I realized it was a fake. Grande sucks
I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before, but Grande Communications sucks. We've had one difficulty after another with them since moving up here to Dallas in June. We wanted to get Dish Network or DirecTV, but because our balcony doesn't face the right direction we couldn't get either of those. Christmas 2004
Reesey was a good puppy all weekend long. She played non-stop and slept the rest of the time, pretty much staying out of trouble. Her grandma even gave her tons of presents. She's got enough treats to survive a nuclear war. School holidays kick ass!
My five mile drive to work this morning took only 10 minutes, or approximately 15 minutes less than normal. Apparently about 75% of the 234,000 people that live in Plano are stay-at-home moms, because there was absolutely no one on the road this morning. Add that to the fact that none of the three school zones I have to deal with on a daily basis were active. It was smooth sailing. I love school... Continue reading

Reesey is sick
We had to take Reesey to the emergency clinic tonight. She's been a little sick (but still peppy) since we got back into town and when we took her in she was dehydrated and something wrong with the concentration of her blood. Both are temporary things that should be cleared up soon. Not overly serious, but she did need to stay overnight and get hooked up to an IV to fix both her blood issue... Continue reading

Reesey misses me
Christina took this perfect shot of Reesey staring out the window wondering where I went. She just stood there on her tiptoes waiting for me to come back home. Headed home...
Wow, it's been a long time since I've been home to New Braunfels. In fact, I haven't been since we moved up here to Dallas in early June. Over four months, definitely the longest I've ever been gone.
