EA Sports NFL Head Coach
My favorite part of Madden is all the franchise-related stuff anyways, so this new coach simulation from EA Sports is definitely interesting. If they do enough with the playbook and let you design actual plays (in depth) and schemes it'll be something I give a look to.
Available in Spring 2006.

Xbox 360 hands-on preview
Still looking good, I need to start figuring out what other games I pick up at launch other than Madden.

Madden 2006 for Xbox 360
Some very nice looking screenshots plus the first video footage I've seen. They're obviously upgrading the graphics, but what'll be really interesting to see is how gameplay and the franchise mode will be updated.

MS demos Xbox 360 to iPod connection
We heard and saw before that devices would be able to connect to the Xbox 360, but now Microsoft has officially shown off the feature and released a few more details as well. Biggest tidbit out of this is that it appears you can't transfer files to the Xbox 360, all you can do is play them.

GTA Liberty City will have wireless multiplayer
Sweet. I preordered this way before the PSP even came out because it was originally a launch game. Sounds like it's going to be a blast, sure wish they had Internet play and just ad hoc.

$4500 Xbox 360 bundle at Gamestop
You get a Dell plasma, the premium system, a bunch of random accessories, and pretty much every game that's releasing with the system (at least half of which will completely awful) for the bargain basement price of $4499.68.
Meanwhile, I'm getting mine for free.

Blu-ray vs HD DVD: State of the Union
Engadget has a great write up and an even better chart of the technical specs of both Blu-ray and HD DVD.

Where Are They Now & Did They Get Hot
I had a crush on Anna Chlumsky when My Girl came out (shut up, I was 11.) And I've known Lacey Chabert was hot for a long time now.

Thanksgiving launch for Xbox 360?
Sounds like details are still a little sketchy, but retailers believe the Xbox 360 will hit shelves at least by the day after Thanksgiving, the busiest shopping day of the year. Hopefully I'll get my last two referrals by then so I can get my free one as soon as possible.

GW and Jeb Bush in Madden (sorta)

Okay they're not in the real game, but Jeb visited Tiburon and they whipped up a video of him running over George on his way to the end zone.

IGN Madden 2006 review
Good but not great, I've already made the decision to not get it and get the Xbox 360 version instead when it comes out.

No more Chapelle Show?
Damn you Charlie Murphy!

NBC to stop annoying the crap out of me?
Not that NBC has many shows worth watching anymore, but if I do decide to TiVo something on the network I won't have to worry about the slight variations in show length anymore. They used to begin shows at 7:59 or 8:02 in order to squeeze out a couple of extra advertising dollars, but it also ended up creating scheduling conflicts for DVR's.

Mike Tyson to star in porno with Jenna Jameson
I believe we officially know where rock bottom is. What do you think is more dangerous for Iron Mike, getting in the ring again or having sex with Jenna Jameson?

TiVo Banner Ads released
Look pretty unobtrusive to me fron the screenshot, though I haven't seen one on my TiVo yet so I can't say for sure. I'd certainly rather have small ads from TiVo if it means they get to stay in business.

PS3 insider details?
MaxConsole.net has some details on the PS3 that I haven't heard before. Pretty interesting if it's true, I'm still a little concerned about the lack of hard drive when it initially ships.

PSP goes white and gets a browser
The latest official firmware update for the PSP will include an actual web browser. No more need to use hacks to browse the web, now I'll be able to surf the internet anywhere I can get a WiFi connection.
Sony also announced a new white version of the PSP, so if you didn't like the original black one you now have another option.

Access your TiVoToGo via a browser

Type your TiVo's IP address into your web browser (make sure to use https:// and not http:// because it's an encrypted site) and you'll have access to your Now Playing
selection. Simply click a link and download the episode to your PC. Easy.
I don't use my TiVoToGo much so I don't like running the software on my PC all the time, this is a great alternative.

IGN's NCAA 06 review
A healthy 9.2 and says the game is a magnanimous leap forward for the franchise.
I'm getting closer and closer to staying up late tonight to pick up the game at midnight when it officially goes on sale.

Gamespot reviews NCAA
They give it an 8.8 and call it arguably the best in the series, as well as a game that's a must-have for college football fanatics.
