Most. Distrubing. Teddy Bear. Ever.
That is seriously weird. I'm hoping it's just a bear whose coat you can change posed oddly. So weird.

No IE In Tiger
Woohooo! Death to the browser that makes all my sites look like poo!
I doubt it'll actually have much effect on the number of people who use Mac IE though, because I think the majority of those are people who are still using OS 9.

Insert25
Insert25 is one of the many sites run by Paul Scrivens and one of the many video game blogs I follow, but it's quickly becoming one of my favorites in both categories.
While Kotaku and Joystiq do a good job of reporting the news, Insert25 hits all the big stuff and a lot of random funny crap the other's don't cover. Plus, it's written in a much more casual manner that encourages a lot of feedback and discussion. Really great news and community site that's still growing and improving.
Definitely worth a visit.

German elected pope for his birthday
Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger of Germany turned 78 on Saturday, he was named pope today. Nice birthday present.
Ratzinger, the first German pope in centuries, served John Paul II since 1981 as head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. In that position, he has disciplined church dissidents and upheld church policy against attempts by liberals for reforms.
Good to see the Catholic Church is still staunchly opposed to change, the last thing it needs is reform.

Semicolons blow
I really have no earthly idea when to use semicolons. I imagine I could count the times I correctly used them in the last five years on one hand.

The Motorola MPx is no more
A product that was once at the top of my wishlist is never going to be released (beyond the it's unsuccessful limited release in SE Asia.) It's a damn shame. Good idea and concept, piss poor execution.

Adobe to acquire Macromedia?
Hopefully this is just an internal April Fool's joke that we're just now stumbling onto. It's sort of like if Microsoft bought Apple, not good at all.
For the love of God I hope they don't scrap Fireworks. I prefer it about 100 times to Photoshop.

Reflecting on 10 years of ESPN.com
God the Web was freaking fugly back in 1995. I didn't know they've had fantasy baseball since 1996.

IGN has first screens and a preview of Madden 2006
New stuff abounds, hopefully it's good enough to make me buy it. It sounds like you might actually have to look off defenders when throwing the ball. Pretty cool.
Screenshots look about the same as always.
I wonder if Madden and NCAA will be launch games for the Xbox 360?
