ESPN.com is reporting that Mets pitcher Tom Glavine was injured in an autmobile accident on his way to LaGuardia Airport. The injuries are not "life threatening" but that's all that has been disclosed. John Kerry almost makes me root for the Yankees

Holy crap! Ricky Williams retires from NFL

Braves are in first place
The Braves beat the Expos 8 - 0 last night, and the a little while later former Brave Roberto Hernandez botched a comebacker to lose the game for the Phillies 3 - 2 in extra innings.
