Marcus Giles had 2 doubles in his first game back off the DL

The Braves beat the Expos 8 - 0 last night, and the a little while later former Brave Roberto Hernandez botched a comebacker to lose the game for the Phillies 3 - 2 in extra innings. The Braves win combined with Philadelphia's loss means the two teams are now tied for first in the NL East. The NY Mets and Florida Marlins are both just one game back in what is easily the best race in baseball right now. It's the first time Atlanta been in first place all year long. They have won 13 of their last 16 while the rest of the division has faded over the last couple weeks.
