John Kerry almost makes me root for the Yankees

I really can't stand the Yankees. I mean, I completely despise them and everything they stand for. That was the case till I saw John Kerry's "surprise visit" to the Red Sox - Yankees game last night. Watching SportsCenter this morning and seeing Kerry dorkily and artificially high-fiving the Red Sox players really made me hope the Yankees would come back and win the game. He really looked out of place. I honestly think the more public appearances he makes the fewer people are going to vote for him. He makes Al Gore look charismatic.

It's kind of a shame that we as a nation will have to resort to voting for the lesser of two evils in November. At least with GW you know what he stands for (agree or disagree), with Kerry it's kind of a mystery where he stands on many issues.

I do know one thing though, Michael Moore, Ben and Jerry, and every other celebrity's opinion will not sway my vote one way or the other.

I won't vote this year, unfortunately. I'm not a supporter for big government and Bush's plans, nor do I care for Kerry. Too bad though. I would actually like to see Hillary Clinton run next time. I'd vote for her.
