Meet the Fockers
Visit the official site!
Nowhere near as funny as the first one, but still good.
For some reason I can't stand when people in movies/on TV get embarrassed. It's painful for me to watch, I have to look away. Unfortunately, like 80% of Meet the Fockers was Greg being embarrassed for no reason by his parents.
Wait for it to come out on video.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Get it from Amazon.com!
I swear I finished the first one, but maybe not. I could've sworn Professor Snape turned out to be the bad guy, but he was still around.
Anyways, good movie. I still don't understand the fanaticism for it by people over the age of twelve, but it's good quality entertainment. Harry is already starting to get a little too old for the role, if they plan on doing a fifth movie I wonder if it'll spin off from the original character. I've got no urge to see a middle-aged wizard.

Wimbledon
Get it from Amazon.com!
Wimbledon was actually a movie I wanted to see in theaters, but I decided it was probably going to be a piece of crap. I love Kirsten Dunst, and although he hasn't been in much I think Paul Bettany is pretty damn funny, but it's about tennis so it's all kind of a wash.
Turns out the movie was pretty good, and an actually acceptable sports movie. Outcome is very predictable, but it's still entertaining. And of course, how can you go wrong with Kirsten Dunst in a tennis skirt for 90% of the movie.

Bleachers
Christina bought me this book months ago, but I'm just getting around to reading it. I decided I should read a book that wasn't about web design or computers for once, even though I really enjoyed the last one I read.
I honestly don't even know what genre this is going to be, I've only read the first chapter but I still would think I'd be able to tell by now. Is someone going to start murdering people? Was the old coach a pedophile? Guess I'll find out soon enough.

The Patriot
Get it from Amazon.com!
I bought it and A Knight's Tale for thirteen bucks total, TOTAL!
It's no Braveheart, but The Patriot is pretty damn close. Throw Gladiator and you got yourself a hell of a testosterone-filled movie marathon.

Super Size Me

First and foremost his girlfriend needs to go. The guy is obviously a pretty liberal dude, but you could tell even he was tired of listening to her vegan propaganda. I have my opinions, you have your's. If I want to know what you think, I'll ask. If you've already told me once and I said no, then definitely shut the heck up.
The movie was good. Informative, funny, entertaining. Morgan Spurlock (the dude I was referring to above) did a good job of just making a documentary without trying to shove his opinion down our throats.
It would be interesting to see what doing the same things would do to a person with a more normal
(in other words, bad) diet. He seemed to not really ever eat McDonald's before he started filming the movie. I mean he puked on Day 2 already.

The Forgotten

One of the lamest plot twists I've seen. Ever. Could've been a decent movie if 75% of the movie wasn't based on that lame plot twist.

Manage my projects with Basecamp
I'm now tracking the HESA redesign using the free version of Basecamp and I really like it. I need to keep working with it and it should come in handy. It'll be a good way to keep myself on track as well as keep my clients informed and involved.
Hopefully I'll be getting busy enough soon that I can justify upgrading from the one project at a time version.

Gavin DeGraw - Chariot

Good CD. I Don't Wanna Be
is of course awesome, but there's several other really good songs on there too. I just really like this style of music lately, like this album and Howie Day.

UT versus OSU basketball
The officiating in college basketball is so bad that it makes the game painful to watch. I only caught the second half of Texas' game with Oklahoma State but it was a good one. Huge audience on national TV and the Horns stepped up and knocked off the number five ranked Cowboys.
Hopefully it wasn't PJ Tucker's last game as a Longhorn, but it sure looks that way.

24: Day 4
I missed tonight's episode (I was working and watching the game), but I plan on watching this season all the way through. I watched the first half of Day 3 and then missed a couple episodes and couldn't get back to it. That won't happen this year thanks to TiVo, if I miss an episode or just aren't in the mood for it I can watch it anytime.

The Wild Cherry Pepsi NFL Wildcard Between Games Report
You've got to be kidding me ABC. Did the ten minutes between games really need a separate sponsor? Couldn't you have just charged someone to sponsor the entire studio show?

Rolling Kansas

Pretty funny movie I just caught on Comedy Central. There's a magical forest of weed
in Kansas and some college kids go on a journey to find it. Of course hilarity ensues.

Serendipity

Wonderful romantic comedy. Kate Beckinsale is hot and surprisingly not a vampire in this movie. John Cusack is awesome just like he is in every movie, although he does kind of play the same role in every movie too.
Sweet and original movie.

Good movie. Well-written thriller with good acting jobs by both Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx.

Designing with Web Standards
Get it from Amazon.com!
Absolutely amazing work. Anyone at all interested in web design must read this book, especially those wondering what all this standards hubbub is about. It's an interesting and easy read.
His personal site and A List Apart are also both amazing resources for designers. It's easy to see why Mr. Zeldman is held in such a high regard. I'm really excited to hear him speak at SXSWi.

Resident Evil 4
I loved Resident Evil 2 way back in the day but haven't played one since. Resident Evil 4 looks like a game that'll get me back into the series. It got an absolutely glowing review from IGN and it seems awesome. It's got great looking graphics and it sounds like the control mechanism has finally been updated.
Definitely something I'll pick up once I get my GameCube back from Matt.
