Section targeting for Google AdSense
Maybe it will allow me to have a little more success with the Google Ads on this site. There's so many of them about Blogger and TypePad and those make seemingly nothing per click.

Logitech Harmony remote for Xbox 360
Pretty sweet, I've been kind of wishing for a Harmony remote for a while but it's a little useless. I think the simple remote included with the Xbox 360 plus the universal remote from the my receiver should do the job.
Update: Changed the link to a much better article from IGN.

Xbox 360 allocations for Best Buy by store
One of the stores near me (#202) is getting 168 Xbox 360's, I'll definitely roll by there on the 22nd just to see if I can get lucky.

Xbox 360 launch line-up
I'm definitely getting Kameo and Madden 360. I'll be checking out Tiger 360, PGR 3, and Gun. Should be pretty good launch if they can match the demand with adequate supply.

How legal is it? When will it actually be released? Looks cool though.

Texas Approves Gay Marriage Ban
I don't know when this happened, but as a moderately conservative and Republican voting Texan, I can't believe such a vast majority of people are against it. How does it affect you? Why do you even care what other people do with their lives? Is there any reason this law is passing so easily other than homophobia?

SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo
Hmmmm... I really liked the original SOCOM on the PS2 but haven't played any of the sequels. This certainly looks worth playing. It actually has a full featured online mode too, something severely lacking from the other PSP games I've played. I'll have to try out the lock on targeting to see if it's something I like.

Xbox 360 kiosk video walkthrough
I haven't been to Wal-Mart since I first looked for the Xbox 360 kiosks a couple of weeks ago, but this video shows just what I'm missing. A Microsoft intro to the kiosks, now all I need to do is actually play it.

Long Island high school cancels the prom
I surprisingly agree with the school's decision after reading (actually listening) to the whole story. And they're not cancelling the whole thing, just saying that the school will no longer officially sponsor it.

Panthers cheerleaders arrested in bar sex incident
Not the normal fair here, but I thought this was too good not to post...
Two Carolina Panthers cheerleaders were arrested after a bar dispute that broke out early Sunday after patrons complained the women were having sex in a bathroom stall, a police arrest report said.

Online Calendar Thingy
MyPIMP (it stands for My Personal Information Management Portal) is a open source free online calendar, tasks, and contacts system that I've been using for a little over a week now. So far it's looking pretty good, easy to use (if you're using a broswer other than Internet Explorer) and full of Ajax-y goodness. Very much still in beta and the groups feature (which I'm looking forward to) isn't active yet, but worth checking out.

Fruitcast - Podcast advertising
I don't have a podcast (though I listen to quite a few), but I'm not sure what I think about turning over that much control to them. It sounds like it makes everything a ton easier.
