In Memory Of Johnnie Cochran
1937-2005

In Calipatria State Prison, when I first heard your name.
During the O.J. Simpson case, you were not playing games.

Everybody In prison, said O.J.'s gonna lose.
Found guilty by racism, on death row cryin blues.

But I knew for a fact, you would win O.J.'s case.
I knew Johnnie Cochran, would put smles on blacks face.

Your reputation is outstanding, you're the master of all.
We know when we're in trouble, what lawyer to call.

You won many cases, like Snoop Dogg and Nelly.
I believe Geronimo Pratt, P Diddy, and R.Kelly?

So many of God's Children, you gave part of your life.
I know your families proud, and your beatiful wife.

I truly miss you Mr.Cochran, the police are on the take.
Arresting singer, Michael Jackson, an actor, Robert Blake.

And Governor Schwarzennegger, executed another black man.
Stanley Tookie Williams, killed him without a fair chance.

Well enough of man's gossip, I will let you rest in peace.
We're gonna miss you Johnnie C., especailly a fan like me.
God Be with you and yours,Amen!2006

There's a black angel in heaven Johnnie, the glove fits!
