Okay, so technically I didn't read the whole book. I read about one-third of it back in March and then I listened to the entire thing this week on CD while driving home for Thanksgiving. I downloaded the entire audiobook off BitTorrent.

A really good book, but no where as good as Angels & Demons or of course The DaVinci Code. A good thriller who's ending is a little drawn out and frustrating.

Texas vs. TAMU

November 27, 2004 at 08:14 PM
Coach Mack Brown gets a well deserved Gatorade shower

I think I sat with my head in my hands the entire halftime. After the catastrophic play that turned a sure seven for the Horns into seven points for the damned Aggies, I had no urge to look at that moronic crap the A&M calls a freaking band.

But the Texas team wasn't as down as I was and came back and whooped their ass in the second half. It was a good game to watch and it was good to see Cedric Benson and Derrick Johnson's last home games as Longhorns.

You can also check out the photos I took of the game in my photoblog. I took a couple of good action shots and some cool ones of DJ in the number 60 jersey.

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind

The first time I saw the previews of this movie I really wanted to see it. But the more previews I saw the dumber it looked.

It's actually probably somewhere in the middle. A good, but not great movie.

It's pretty confusing in the beginning to figure out exactly what's going on, but if you sit and pay attention to the entire movie the story really makes some weird sense. Real different concept and flow, I'm still not exactly sure the real sequence of events. It's kind of a strange cross between The Truman Show and Memento.

Watch the trailer!

Hilariously entertaining. Everyone should see it, definitely not just a kids movie.

I'm already anxiously the DVD release and the announcement of a sequel.

Alfie

Rating: 4/5

Get the soundtrack!

Great movie despite the fact that it's bombing at the box office. Jude Law overkill? Really enjoyable, especially for Christina who would leave me in a second for Jude Law. Pretty good storyline mixed in with some comedic moments and a great soundtrack. Excellent acting and I enjoyed the way Alfie narrated the story by speaking directly to the audience. Definitely a cool technique.

Just an entertaining movie with tons of attractive people. Damn Marisa Tomei was freaking smoking, she's getting better with age. And Sienna Miller should be in more things than this movie, a crappy cancelled TV series, and Jude Law's pants.

Halo 2

Read my full review!

Screw it. I'm jumping on the bandwagon for better or worse. I own the original Halo and have probably played a grand total of an hour of it, but now I'm feeling the urge to get Halo 2. I hate first person shooters, but the multiplayer on Xbox Live sounds awesome and it's calling my name. SOCOM was badass online, and it wasn't even that great of a game.

Hmmmm...

Update: I got it and I've been playing a little. The first thirty minutes I played I was already feeling sick. I think it's actually the level type that bothers me. Both Halo and now Halo 2 start inside a cramped space station. I played split screen with C last night and had no issues when playing the outdoor maps.

OU 41 - TAMU 13

November 05, 2004 at 11:22 PM

I can see Jason White throwing for 270+ yards while Adrian Peterson rushes for 120. A&M's secondary can't stop anyone, it'll be a field day for OU's offense. TAMU might score more than 13, but even if they do their defense still gets them blown out.

Damnit A&M is overrated. They get more credit for losing to Baylor than we do when we win a damn game.

Under the Tuscan Sun

Rating: 4/5

Don't laugh, it was actually pretty good. Yes it was girly, but it wasn't the same crappy story line you get from most chick flicks. Unfortunately, it didn't rely on the whole "women are idiots who need men or else they fall apart and they make really bad decisions and always fall for the wrong guy and think the world is over" stereotype. That always irks me.

Best thing going for it? Diane Lane. She may be almost forty, but she's freaking hot!

Supercuts blows

November 01, 2004 at 08:28 AM

Supercuts sucks. I know, everyone probably already knows that.

But how do you cut a sideburn at an angle? I can understand being too stupid to make both sideburns the same length, but they cut my left one at like a 45 degree angle. Unbelievable. So now I had to cut both of them short to make it straight. Morons.

Maybe it's my fault, but twelve dollars is about my price max for a haircut. It takes a total of like 12 minutes to do my hair, no way you're getting more than a dollar per minute out of me.

And thanks Christina for not even noticing.
