I believe that the decision that they made was rediculous. They took softball out of the olympics just because USA was dominating. That is the stupidest answer ever.

taking softball and baseball out of the olympics is just ridiculous! yes, the usa is dominating...you need a dominating team in any sports. that is what makes competiting interting. the olympic committe keeps all the european sports in like rugby and any other sport in the olmpics but if you look softball and baseball has more teams and more attention in any nation compared to thoes sports. you have teams everywhere for softball and baseball and yet they ax them. they are so many people in this world that look up to olympic baseball and softball teams. the dreams of young people and young girls that are softball players and spectators are getting crushed because of the committes decisons to take the olympics out of the london games. and since they are 2 sports short of the maximum of the london games they should put these sports back in! im sorry but its ridiculous that they are keeping these bad sports in the olympics like curling and rugby and not keeping real sports in. it's just not right. like said, the usa may be dominating but its not like another nation can't beat us, because they can. all these people on BOTH the softball and baseball teams work so hard to get to where they are now and then the committee even ruins THEIR dreams and gets rid of real sports not only in american but anywhere else where thoes games are played. think about it!

I think that the decision to ax out softball and baseball out of the olympics is a terrible idea. What great sports put to waste. What little kid doesnt dream of going to the olympics to play their favorite sports, and so many kids' favorite sports are baseball and softball. I am an 8th grade girl that plays softball at a highly competitive level. I breath and live softball year round. My coaches say I have high potential. I have heard from most that I can most definetely make it to D1 college level ball and maybe the Olympics. My hopes are soaring, yet my soal is aching because of this terrible decsion.

I think that taking softball/baseball out of the olympics is really dumb. they took a vote on it and it was voted out but really they are both highly popular sports but its said that it was not bringing in enough money which is very dissapointing but its going to come back!! =]

taking softball/and baseball out of the olympics is really stupid. UK wants it out because there mostly all American sports, but we aren't taking out sports like handball that aren't popular in the U.S.
