Top 5 Movies of 2004

January 05, 2005 at 02:45 PM

Everyone else is doing it, so now I'm gonna start listing some of my Top 5's of 2004.

Today I'm doing my top 5 movies of last year. I watched a ton of good movies in 2004, but of movies that were actually released during the year two really stood out. The top two stood above everything else. Everything about them was well done and very entertaining, they'll be on my list of all-time favorites. Picking a number five was difficult, as no other movie was really great. I enjoyed Alfie, Kill Bill Vol. 2, Friday Night Lights, and even Mean Girls, but none of them were good enough to separate themselves from the same old crap you see all the time. So I decided on another movie that I not only liked, but was also really unique and intelligent.

So without further ado, here are my Top 5 Movies of 2004:

  1. The Incredibles - 5 stars
  2. Garden State - 4.5 stars
  3. Anchorman - 4 stars
  4. Spiderman 2 - 4 stars
  5. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - 3.5 stars

What were your favorite movies of 2004?

ANCHORMAN was atrocious. It was awful. Worst Will Ferrell movie of all time. I can't believe you enjoyed it.

Hey now, we all get our own opinion here. :-p Spiderman 2 was probably better, but I enjoy a good comedy better than a good action movie.

What were your top movies of last year then?
