Okay, I made fun of it a lot during the movie and I probably will take a lot of shots at it in this review, but honestly A Walk to Remember wasn't that bad. I mean it wasn't great and it was corny sometimes, but at least it was a good story and well acted.

Mandy Moore (Jamie Sullivan) plays a girl dying of leukemia who is the stereotypical quiet, nerdy school-girl. She does a decent job with the role, although it is often a little unbelievable. I hate movies like this one where some obviously gorgeous/popular girl plays most of the movie as an ugly loser. I mean Mandy does a good job playing a priss, but there's NO WAY she would be in the loser crowd. Shane West (Landon Carter) is the popular guy who is way too cool to hang out with the smart girl.

Of course he eventually realizes she's friggin' Mandy Moore and falls in love with her. Then she dies. THE END.
