Review: The Perfect Score

The Perfect Score

It was the only thing we remotely wanted to see from Blockbuster. There's just not many good movies out on DVD right now. I guess most of the summer blockbusters are still a ways from coming out on DVD.

The movie was decent, especially considering it's from MTV Films. The storyline is decent, but not very original. There's some funny lines, but overall the dialog is lacking. There's worse movies out there I guess, and it's one of the few movies aimed at high schoolers that are actually rated PG-13.

The biggest issue is that their plan is to steal the answers to the test. In other words, the letters in order: 1 is A, 2 is C, 3 is D, and 4 is C. That's the whole premise of the damn thing. They don't seem to factor in that each copy of the test has different questions in a different order with different shuffling of the answers. Pretty moronic.

Rating: 3/5

Get it from Amazon.com!

Scarlett Johansson is odd but still hot, however Erika Christensen is not. I just don't see the reasoning behind her popularity. Darius Miles is bad, he can't even act like a basketball player. The Asian dude carries the movie, he adds a lot of comic relief and some memorable lines. It's kinda odd that some of the most intelligent dialog comes out of the pot head.
