Really good album but not as good it's hyped to be. If you like Kanye West you'll like Common.

Freaking awesome. I'm not a huge Foo Fighters fan but their new album is fantastic. Love every single song on it.

Adam Curry's Daily Source Code

July 23, 2005 at 03:26 PM

Really been enjoying a lot of podcasts since iTunes debuted support a couple of weeks ago. Former MTV VJ Adam Curry is the father of podcasting and his Daily Source Code is entertaining and a great way to find new podcasts too.

Gwen Stefani - Love. Angel. Music. Baby.

Rating: .5/5

Wow this is absolutely awful. What an utter piece of crap. Other than the catchy Rich Girl and Hollaback Girl (which is actually kind of corny but still good) the entire album is just bad, bad music. Horribly corny lyrics with bad melodies and a white girl trying to rap.

No Doubt used to be good. I bet the rest of the band is glad their name isn't associated with this manure. At least she still has her freaky posse.

Wow.

Gorillaz - Demon Days

It's nice to actually be listening to new music again after listening to so much of the same crap the last year. I listen to music all day long while working, so pretty much everything I've got has been overplayed. I've been listening to LAUNCHcast's Big Hits station and finding lots of new music that way.

Bowling for Soup - Almost

May 13, 2005 at 10:58 AM

I guess Bowling for Soup is finally making it big. I think they must've played 40 Acres Fest every year while I was in school.

Almost and 1985 are both really good catchy songs, I wish I could remember any of the old stuff of their's that I liked.

LAUNCHcast

May 11, 2005 at 08:20 AM

It's been forever since I've used LAUNCHcast, probably since college. I'm just getting tired of the mp3's I have here at work, I need to make a list of new music to download when I get the chance.

The program hasn't changed too much, hopefully it doesn't play more commercials than they did back then.

Breaking Benjamin - We Are Not Alone

April 13, 2005 at 10:00 AM

So Cold is freaking great and the rest of the album isn't shabby either. Some of the songs are really surprising, I expected all the songs to be as hard as So Cold but there's lots of different stuff on there.

Good CD. I Don't Wanna Be is of course awesome, but there's several other really good songs on there too. I just really like this style of music lately, like this album and Howie Day.

A great, great CD. Probably my favorite overall album of their's since Dookie. Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Holiday, American Idiot are all fantastic songs.

Howie Day - Collide

January 06, 2005 at 04:04 PM

I heard him perform live on either Letterman or Leno last night and the song Collide was awesome. Jessica was raving about him all last year, but she's a hippy liberal so I ignored her.

If I buy one of his albums off of iTunes, which should I buy?

Pat Green - Lucky Ones

I downloaded it off of BitTorrent the day before yesterday. Don't worry, I had already preordered from PatGreen.com too.

Definitely a must have album for any Pat Green fan and by far his best one since signing a Nashville record deal. The album comes out officially on October 19th.

Lenny Kravitz: Mama Said

Lenny Kravitz: Mama Said

I hadn't heard anything from this album in ages, found it the other day through BitTorrent. I really like It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over. Overall the whole album is good and more to my liking than most of his newer stuff.
