State of Fear

Very interesting book. Lot of good environmental research and suspense. Definitely a good thriller worth reading but not as good as Prey.

Be warned: there's about 50 pages of references at the end, so the book ends a lot sooner than you think it is going to. I thought there was a ton left when the book was over. I'm not sure the ending was dissatisfying or just sooner than I expected.

Say Anything

Christina and I had our Valentine's dinner last night, so tonight was romantic movie night. I think I'm getting to the point where I own and love every John Cusack movie ever made, though about half of them fall into this romantic comedy/date movie mold they're all great.

I think my thought process when flying comes from watching this movie when I was (much) younger, as soon as the Fasten Seatbelts light/sound goes off you're safe. I wonder if there's any truth to that at all.
