Hustle and Flow

Get it from Amazon.com.

Really, really good. Terrence Howard was absolutely fantastic and even Anthony Anderson does a good job in a supporting role. I kind of wish the movie had been another 20 minutes long and they'd gone into things at the end a little better. Great music and a great movie.

MVP 2006 NCAA Baseball

January 22, 2006 at 09:16 PM

Fun so far, the new load and fire hitting system is going to take some getting used to but I like it. I've been playing the hitting minigame just to get better and even that's fun. I can't believe they used the rosters from last year, what a huge mistake. Imagine the uproar if they used the old rosters in their NCAA Football games, I don't know what they were thinking.

Buy it!

NFL Conference Championship games

January 22, 2006 at 07:38 PM

This pair of games is usually better than the Super Bowl football-wise, but both games today have been pretty boring. Pittsburgh handled Denver easily and made Jake Plummer look like Arizona Cardinal Jake Plummer. Now in the NFC title game Seattle is blowing out Carolina early in the 3rd quarter.

Yawn...

24: Day 5

January 10, 2006 at 06:56 PM

I'm giving 24 another try this season and so far it's been a good decision. First four hours have been great, though in the last episode they started with the interoffice penis measuring they do every season. Really pisses me off that they somehow think office politics in the middle of a national crisis is just as important/interesting as the action and finding out who the bad guy is.

King Kong

Rating: 3.5/5

More reviews.

Some parts were severely lacking and there were some major plot points that were just glossed over but a pretty good movie overall. Much better than I thought it would be when I saw the first trailers back in the day. Naomi Watts was great and Jack Black was too, but I have a hard time forgetting that he's Jack Black regardless of his performance.
