Wow, freaking terrible! Even worse than I could've imagined, and I imagined it was pretty bad. The whole movie is based on the premise that these girls' friends couldn't tell the difference between them and the Wayans brothers dressed as them. I'm embarrassed.

Decent, but I wasn't really to into it. A little too dark and too all over the place.

Much better than I was expecting. A little bit typical, but entertaining and never too lame. No ridiculous sports moments either.

The end is a little lame, for some reason the people who made the movie think that high school sports are as dumb as the NCAA. There's some sort of selection process to get into the state tournament.

The 40-Year-Old Virgin

August 20, 2005 at 08:05 PM

Rating: 3/5

More reviews.

The 40-Year-Old Virgin was a good movie that for much of it's two hours wasn't particularly funny. It was a good romantic comedy, that after the first sixty minutes was more romantic than comedy.

They did devote a lot of time mocking those dumbass eBay stores that are popping up everywhere, you can never go wrong with that.

The original version, not the crappy remake with Adam Sandler. Really good, had never seen it before.

Sphere

Sphere by Michael Crichton

I've been wanting to read another Michael Crichton since I finished Prey and I'm finally getting around to it. I saw the movie and enjoyed it ages ago, and I'm about 25% of the way through and so far so good.

HTC Tornado

Really fantastic looking successor to the Audiovox SMT 5600 that I never got. I'm sure by the next time I need a new phone (Christmas 2006 maybe?) it'll be here in the US and decently priced.

Really good album but not as good it's hyped to be. If you like Kanye West you'll like Common.

Starved

Great comedy with some actual substance on FX Thursdays at 9 Central. And swearing too! Definitely going onto my TiVo Season Pass list so I don't miss any upcoming episodes. I'll be sure to post more after I see a few more episodes so I can tell you whether or not you should be watching it too.

Apparently critics found it offensive, I found it hilarious.
