A&M fans hold "mini" yell practice for Gillispie

March 29, 2007 at 03:48 PM

Man are those guys ever going to figure out this crap is why the entire country mocks them incessantly? They held a miniature yell practice trying to convince coach Billy Gillispie to stay at Texas A&M and not move on to a better job. Only about 70 students and other morons fans showed up (the 150 number quoted in the story is BS) and Coach Gillispie was not even in the state. The rally... Continue reading

March 28, 2007 at 03:29 PM

Need a new way to sneak booze into sporting events or high school calculus classes? Check out the new Dram sandals from Reef, stylish looking flip flops with a secret compartment to store you alcoholic beverage of choice. The sandals have a "polyurethane encapsulated canteen in heel with screw cap" and an included key to open the cap and use the pour out the liquid. My big question, why do they have these sandals... I'm so excited... I'm so... scared!

March 26, 2007 at 03:11 PM

One of the best scenes ever from Saved by the Bell: Not as emotional as when Zack and Kelly broke up, but Elizabeth Berkley gives one of the best acting jobs in the history of Saturday morning television. This is why I don't do drugs.... Continue reading

Dallas city council trying to blow Super Bowl bid

March 23, 2007 at 02:51 PM

First Mayor Laura Miller and her fellow idiots on the Dallas City Council cost Dallas the Cotton Bowl (and probably the Texas/Oklahoma game.) Now they're doing their best to ruin any attempts to bring the Super Bowl to the new Cowboys stadium and the DFW area. Despite not being interested in paying for the new stadium or the economic revival it would bring, Dallas is trying to bully their way into reaping all the... Continue reading

EA announces NCAA Football 08 cover boy

March 04, 2007 at 10:05 AM

EA Sports has announced that former Boise State quarterback Jared Zabransky will be on the cover of NCAA Football 2008. Zabransky and his Bronco teammates had a storybook season and knocked off the Oklahoma Sooners in the Fiesta Bowl in one of the most exciting college football games of the year. It was one of the more interesting stories of this season, but there's no way he deserves to be on the cover. Zabransky... Continue reading

Sony and Immersion settle, rumble coming to PS3?

March 03, 2007 at 12:04 PM

Sony Computer Entertainment and Immersion have finally reached an agreement on their patent dispute over video game rumble technology. The dispute resulted in the omission of rumble in the new Sixaxis c ontrollers, one of Sony's biggest mistakes with the PlayStation 3. The two companies have now entered into an agreement that should allow for Sony to use their technology going forward and should mean rumble will soon be available to PS3 gamers. Good news...
