An excellent Adobe Illustrator tutorial for making swirly curls
is available from Veerle Pieters. She's got step by step instructions on how to make the cool and popular little artistic flair. I'm using something similar with floral accents on Our Married Life and I really like it, Veerle's tutorial makes it pretty easy to do.
(Absolutely love her site by the way, one of my favorites.)
