The Simpsons Season 6 alternative packaging

The Simpsons - The Complete Sixth Season is packed into a case that looks like Homer's head. It's actually nice looking but just doesn't match the other seasons at all and doesn't look good from the side while sitting on the shelf. To make matters worse, it's terribly difficult to actually open and get a disc out when you want to watch it.

Fortunately, Fox has a website up where you can find out how to get alternative packagaing for free ($2.95 S&H). And they're pretty funny about it. They'll send you a case that you can slide Homer's head into so it'll fit in better with the first 5 seasons. I'll be sending off for mine next week.

Looks like with Season 7 they got a little smarter and are selling it with Marge's head in a more functional case to begin with.
