NCAA 2006 rosters
A lot of people got NCAA 2006 early, unfortunately I wasn't one of them. The great thing is that there are already people hard at work cranking out the updated rosters with the real players' names. Normally it would take a couple of days after release to get them ready, now I can start my dynasty right away.
If you want the rosters, you can head over MaddenMania for the PS2 roster file or FKRosters for the Xbox version. You'll need a PS2 Action Replay Max or Xbox Action Replay to get the file onto your system.
Fans of the game or college football will definitely find them worth it, it's so much better to hear Lee Corso screaming about Vince Young than QB #10. Unless of course you're an A&M fan, then your team sucks no matter what name you call your players by.
Update: If anybody is interested in the Xbox rosters and buying an Action Replay, I'm now selling mine. Since I'll have a PS3/Xbox 360 by this time next year I don't have much use for it anymore. They go for $30 on Amazon and $20 plus shipping on eBay, I figure $25 is a fair price. Price includes shipping and is not negotiable. Remember, you're getting the NCAA rosters, a memory card, and an Action Replay. Leave a comment (with a real email address) if you want it and I'll send you an email with my PayPal email. The best place for xbox and ps2 rosters is psxsports.com which has the most accurate 1a and 1aa rosters.

Ric, Microsoft has said "that top games will run" on the Xbox 360. Sounds like it will be accomplished through emulation because the chipsets aren't the same. Here's a link for more info.

Matt, no they won't. The roster files are game specific. You should be able to find the 2005 versions around the Internet, though the rosters will be a year old.

Do you even know who you ordered it from Burrus? Kind of hard for whoever you're asking to know if you don't mention the site name, you're also probably much better off if you went to the actual site and contacted them.
Whoever it was, it's only been 7 days. Even if they mailed it the next day it might not be able to get there in 7 days.

Good question other Brian, I'll be picking up the game in the next couple days. I doubt even if someone is making it moves nearly as fast as NCAA Football with so many people working on those together. I'll probably just edit the Texas roster and that'll be it.
