Post-election anti-Bush rally

Here are some photos from an anti-Bush rally that took place in San Francisco on November 3rd.
Some of these are pretty shocking and offensive. Why don't some of these people understand that all they're doing is driving some undecided people towards the right? As a moderate American, would you want to be associated with people who thought like this or this.
There was also vandalism and violence (by a minority of the protestors), and the night ended with them burning Bush in effigy and burning an American flag. Pretty offensive stuff. (via Juiced Thoughts)
