Take that you domain stealing bastards

I've been getting more and more more interested in the business of web design lately, so last week I decided to look for a possible new domain name. I wanted an address that could be focused on design and my (currently non-existent) portfolio, so that this address could remain more personal. I was hoping for something to find a decent company name that would also have an available .com web address. I know I don't really have anything to put there right now, but I know how half decent domain names don't sit around for long so I wanted to make sure to reserve any good name I could think of.

It was even harder than I expected.

Every single remotely creative name I could think of is taken. All 13,543 different combinations of the names I could think of were taken. Some were real sites, some have placeholders, and some are long defunct.

One company that actually exists is BSquare. I had never heard of them before I started my little search, but ironically enough they showed up today on Gizmodo. Some Pocket PC/"BlackBerry killer" device they were making was killed. I guess it's bad karma for a company to have an idea (a long time) before I do.
