I've never understood the DDR craze

Dance Dance Revolution

Konami's Dance Dance Revolution has been around in arcades and on PlayStation for a long time and I have never once played it nor have I ever had the urge to. I just don't get it. It looks like an entertaining experience in the arcade, the people playing/watching seem to be enjoying themselves. Maybe it's my complete lack of rhythm. Or my utter distaste for dance music. The PlayStation and PS2 versions make even less sense. Pushing buttons on a controller in random sequences? Yay, fun!

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Well, the DDR fascination has claimed it's first victim. A fifteen year old Nebraskan girl had a heart attack while playing the game. Her heart stopped beating and they had to use an electronic defibrillator to revive her. The heart attack was the result of a preexisting condition however, not any fault of the game or anyone else.

I guess DDR isn't near as bad as Grand Theft Auto, because we all know those games kill people. After all, we should never be responsible for our own actions. People don't kill people, video games do.
