I have little or no respect for mankind. I think a good 99% of the general public is at least mildly retarded. That opinion is repeatedly validated every day, but never more than after reading this post on A Whole Lotta Nothing which directed me to another post about Overhaulin'. Apparently fans of the show are complete morons with really crappy cars.

It's not really that egotistical. I don't think I'm some sort of genius, I just believe a good chunk of people are complete morons.
And yes, some of the people on both links were obviously mocking the others but a lot of them weren't kidding and that's just pathetic.

That's kind of a egotistical opinion. There is no way 99% of the general public is "mildly retarded", if true that would be normal (by definition) and you would have above median intelligence. In any case, those people less intelligent shouldn't be disrespected because of their intelligence relative to yours.
Besides, I gather that most of those Maury fans are just jokers (just a hunch).
