Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game

March 01, 2005 at 08:27 AM

I bought this book for my dad a year ago for his birthday or Father's Day or something. It's been a great book so far.

Some of the comments in it are kind of interesting in light of the steroid information that's coming to light now. Things like the strategy to take good hitters even if they have no power, because you can develop power. And heeping praise on skinny little Jason Giambi and how he developed into such a power hitter. Sure makes it sound like the Oakland front office knew about all the steroids in their clubhouse.

Buy it!
