Dallas Cowboys draft so far

April 24, 2004 at 05:23 PM

I really don't know what to make of it yet. They have a desparate need for a top of the line running back, and Steven Jackson was there when their slot came up at number 22. But they traded down, and got a pretty damn good pick for it. I expect the first round pick they got next year will be pretty good (Buffalo will suck again), but they passed on a great talent at... The Draft continues...

April 24, 2004 at 12:45 PM

The Falcons are on the clock. I've got no idea what they're gonna do. They need lots of help everywhere but RB and QB. I think with the remaining guys on the board they should trade down and get an extra pick or two.... Continue reading

The Detroit Lions select Roy Williams

April 24, 2004 at 12:33 PM

I hope this works out for Roy. Seems to be an odd team to draft another receiver. The Lions took Rogers last year and now Roy this year. Was this their biggest need? I wanted him to Atlanta or Jacksonville. Michael Irvin is a fucking jackass. Shut the hell up. What a moron. He's ridiculing Roy for staying in school. Wow, I thought he was off the coke. Astounding.... Continue reading

The NFL Draft begins

April 24, 2004 at 11:06 AM

Here we go, one of the most entertaining and interesting TV events is about to begin. I don't care what kind of nerd it makes me, but I love the NFL Draft. I'll post my opinions/reactions to the picks.... Continue reading

Pat Tillman: 1976 - 2004

April 23, 2004 at 03:45 PM

This is a painful day for the Tillman family and my condolences go out to them. I have known Pat since 1998 and I don't know if I have ever met a more dedicated person in my lifetime. He represented all that was good in sports, bringing passion, honor, integrity and dignity to the game. Pat knew his purpose in life. He proudly walked away from a career in football to a greater calling,... Continue reading

TJ Ford expected to opt for surgery

April 23, 2004 at 11:20 AM

TJ Ford is going to have the spinal surgery he opted not to have a few years ago. The surgery is supposed to be pretty risky, so I hope it works out well for him.... Continue reading

Pat Tillman killed in Afghanistan

April 23, 2004 at 10:00 AM

Sad news. Former NFL player Pat Tillman turned down millions of dollars two years ago because he felt compelled to serve his country after 9/11. ABC News is reporting he has been killed in Afghanistan.... Continue reading

Eli Manning and family are whiny babies

April 22, 2004 at 09:17 AM

ESPN.com is reporting that Eli Manning and his dad, Archie, are little bitches. The news broke last night that Archie didn't want his son drafted by the San Diego Chargers because he didn't want him going into a losing situation. Which is complete BS, because they DO want him to get drafted by the New York Giants. FYI: the Giants and Chargers had the exact same crappy records last year. The real reasoning of course... First Rosa Parks, now Maurice Clarett

April 21, 2004 at 09:12 AM

Nice to see that the US Supreme Court has nothing better to do than hear the whining of Maurice Clarett. He's a punk ass kid, who's been nothing but trouble for everyone he's come in contact with. Ruth Baders Ginsburg is going to hear the case, I don't know what a 125 year old woman knows about football, so it's tough to guess which way she'll rule on the case. Personally, I think the NFL... Cyber-squatting mother fuckers

April 19, 2004 at 12:28 PM

So I had like the most brilliant idea ever the other night to contact Lance and see if I could design/maintain an official site for him. I figured I could do it for free for him (have him pay for expenses though) and just use the site to show people my capabilities. Plus he could even recommend me to other people that needed sites. There was no www.lanceberkman.com on Saturday. Now look, some stupid ass-holes... Continue reading

Braves are playing great

April 18, 2004 at 09:38 PM

And are only one game back in the division. The just swept a three game series from the NL East leading Marlins. They played well in all three games, and even more encouraging is that Mike Hampton looked great today. Seven innings pitched, and only one run given up. Hope he's rebounded. Bad news though, even bigger than the game was that Chipper Jones was carted off the field after pulling his hamstring. It looked... Continue reading

Why the hell is there a WNBA mock draft?

April 16, 2004 at 09:05 PM

You're kidding me right? A fucking WNBA mock draft on ESPN.com? what a joke, quit pretending anyone cares. The media has been trying to shove women's basketball down our throats for several years now, and I think we've had about enough now. We don't like it, it's freaking boring.... Continue reading
