Comment spam

July 29, 2004 at 01:23 PM

Over night last night this site was bombarded by comment spam to the tune of something like 150 new comments. So since some morons desire to spread the glory of penis enlargement through spamming worthless weblogs, I am going to have reenable comment moderation until I can get the new MT version and MT-Blacklist installed.... Upcoming redesign

July 25, 2004 at 06:29 PM

I just got my copy of MS Office 2003 from NewEgg so I'm currently working on an Access database to keep track of all my workout details and progress. Leave it to me to make working out nerdy. As soon as I'm finished with that I'll be beginning the redesign of this site. I've got a lot of stuff I plan on doing both on the back end and on the presentation of things. I've... I wish I had more time

June 30, 2004 at 06:56 PM

I would really like to update more and there's still a ton of changes to the site I've been wanting to make, but with work I just don't have the time/energy. I spend eight hours a day staring at a monitor and looking at code, so when I get home I just can't get around to working on this site. Trust me, I'd much rather spend my time updating here then working on stuff for... Continue reading

More changes

I'm making more site updates right now so pardon my dust. If a link is down, it's just a sign of something new coming soon. Remember this page will always be up and functional.... Continue reading

MT 3.0 installed

May 18, 2004 at 11:14 AM

I installed MT3 last night so bear with me if anything is acting a little funky. For one thing, the new commenting system requires TypeKey to authenticate commenters or else I will have to approve your comment before it will post. It's a pain I know, but judging by the spam comments my cruddy little site has gotten in the last three or four days (like three a day) I understand the reasoning for it.... Continue reading

Stupid Dreamweaver

April 26, 2004 at 09:12 AM

Freaking Dreamweaver fucked up my index templates. It randomly decided what should and shouldn't be capitalized and therefore I can't use my template I worked forever on. There should still be a decent version at home, I'll have to reupload it tonight.... Continue reading

Websites up and ready

April 20, 2004 at 09:42 PM

I've got 99% of my hosting transfer stuff done, all the sites are up and ready and hosted on a MUCH faster server. BrianBehrend.com (my personal site, soon to be the host of my MT blog) and my CHS class site are both ready to go. Major changes and improvements should be on the way soon.... Continue reading

Web hosting and domain issues

April 20, 2004 at 11:34 AM

Arggggh, I'm having a ton of trouble figuring out all this hosting and domain crap. I've switched both my web hosting and my domain registration over to Surpass. Well at least I've tried to. I've had no problems with the hosting, but it's being a bitch about transferring the domain. It's my fault though, I forgot that I had locked my domain over at Dotster. So when Surpass tried to transfer, the transfer failed. I... Continue reading
