13 Year Old Steals Dad's Credit Card to Buy Hookers

May 12, 2008 at 09:48 PM

Awesome. First thing I'd do with a stolen credit card and after winning at a video game is get me some prostitutes. Well I guess only if I'm a 13-year old boy from Newark, Texas that is: Ralph Hardy, a 13 year old from Newark, Texas confessed to ordering an extra credit card from his father's existing credit card company, and took his friends on a $30,000 spending spree, culminating in playing "Halo" on an... Global Warming is No Longer an Issue

April 19, 2008 at 04:38 PM

Al Gore has done it, he's ended global warming. Annoying liberal idiot Al Sharpton and annoying conservative moron Pat Robertson are sharing a couch together in a new commercial for the Alliance for Climate Protection. Watch the commercial: Pat Robertson and Al Sharpton Commercial from YouTube.com By getting those two together on an issue, Gore has officially made hell freeze over. No need to conserve anymore or drive silly hybrid cars, global cooling is on... Continue reading

Ex-UT Student Colton Pitonyak Guilty of Murder

February 02, 2007 at 04:52 PM

Former University of Texas student Colton Pitonyak was convicted Tuesday of the murder of Jennifer Cave and sentenced to 55 years in jail. Despite shooting, mutilating, and dismembering Cave's body and then attempting to run to Mexico with his accomplice, Pitonyak and his attorneys tried to claim the murder was an accident. Shockingly, Pitonyak will only have to serve about 20 years before becoming eligible for parole. The fact that he could be walking... Continue reading

Don't Answer Calls From 514-958-0000

February 02, 2007 at 08:39 AM

Another telephone scam, this time reportedly from Express Consolidation out of Canada. Someone repeatedly called my cell phone, 3 or 4 times in a ten minute span, from an "Unknown" number and after not answering any of those calls the next two came from 514-958-0000. Same thing happened on three separate occasions this week while I was at work. I didn't answer any of these unsolicited calls and you shouldn't either. No reputable businesses... Continue reading

Confederate statues at UT face uncertain future

December 28, 2006 at 07:41 AM

The University of Texas is exploring options about what to do with several statues honoring Confederate leaders on campus. It seems like the issue comes up every few years but every time they decide to do nothing. The statues have in recent history become a topic of debate among students, professors and administrators. They include four bronze figures on the campus South Mall honoring Confederate leaders such as Jefferson Davis, president of the Confederate States,... Continue reading

And support the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund. Reebok is running a very cool promotion right now where 100% of the profits from any New Orleans Saints gear will be donated to the Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. There's even a couple of really cool t-shirts just for the promotion. This one's so nice looking that even Eli Manning can't dork it up in the commercial. Great way to help out people in need and get something... Continue reading

Kanye West makes no sense

September 07, 2005 at 09:56 PM

There's been a lot discussion about Kanye West attacking George Bush during NBC's Concert for Hurricane Relief. But all everyone is talking about is the very last line that George Bush doesn't care about black people. That comment may have been completely off base, but it was probably the only thing he said that was at all decipherable. He started off with some ignorant, incoherent rambling on how he was shopping but shouldn't have... Continue reading

Jackson acquitted, fans should be locked up

June 13, 2005 at 04:37 PM

Michael Jackson has been acquitted of all charges. I saw this one coming, the accusers just had absolutely no credibility whatsoever. Hard to find prove beyond a reasonable doubt when you don't belief half of what the victim is saying. I am a little bit surprised he wasn't found guilty of any of the lesser charges. The people that should locked up are the morons outside the courthouse going insane when the verdict was... Continue reading

Why is ET glorifying Mary Kay Letourneau's wedding?

May 20, 2005 at 11:10 PM

I can't believe how much positive heart-warming coverage Entertainment Tonight has given to Mary Kay Letourneau's wedding to her former student. This is a woman who had a sexual relationship with her twelve year-old student when she was a married 34 year-old mother of four, and had his baby when he was fifteen. Now you're glorifying their marriage? ET has had tons of interviews and complete wedding coverage, including video coverage of the rehearsal... Continue reading

The NCAA academic standards are a joke

April 13, 2005 at 03:31 PM

Students entering college on or after August 1, 2005, may not use any computer science courses in meeting the core-course requirements. Best Buy to stop offering rebates

Best Buy has announced (BugMeNot) that it will no longer be offering mail-in-rebates or even manufacturer rebates in the near future. They will have completely eliminated all rebates in the next 24 months. Retailers use rebates because it allows them to advertise a lower price that many people actually won't take advantage of. Regardless of the amount I will always mail it in, so I benefit. I'm sure there will still be discounts and... Continue reading

Congress to subpoena Sosa, McGwire, others

Jose Canseco, Mark McGwire, Jason Giambi (see my conspiracy theory on the A's), Curt Schilling, Sammy Sosa, Rafael Palmeiro, and Frank Thomas will all be called to testify about steroids in front of the House Government Reform Committee. Right now there is a bill going to the Texas House of Representatives that would prohibit cities from using cameras to cite people who run red-lights. The bill is expected to pass easily. It appears to be a battle between the state and city governments as much as anything else. The cities already can't do anything criminally because state... Continue reading

January 06, 2005 at 12:13 PM

Andrea Yates' murder conviction was overturned. She drowned three of her children and was chasing the other two around the house in an attempt to kill them too.
