Flickr gives me presents

When Flickr announced they had been acquired by Yahoo they mentioned they planned to reward all of us cool kids with goodies since we knew Flickr was the next big thing and bought Pro accounts early. That way everyone else would know we were better than them. Yesterday I got the email letting me know what gift I was getting:

1. Double what you paid for! Your original 1 year pro account has been doubled to 2 years, and your new expiry date is 6th February, 2007.

2. More capacity! Now you can upload 2 GB per month.

3. 2 free Pro Accounts to give away to your friends! This won’t be activated for a day or two, but when it is, you’ll see a note on your home page telling you what to do.

Plus, free accounts are getting their upload and storage limits doubled to 20 MB and 200 photos respectively. The FlickrBlog has the complete details. This is all darn cool, although I must admit I was hoping for a t-shirt. Why can't I get a Flickr t-shirt?

I don't know who I'm going to give my Pro accounts to, I want them to actually be taken advantage of. What should I do with them?

You should give one to me. How much do they cost to begin with?

That was one of the other changes they announced, they used to be $42 but from now on Pro accounts will be $24.95 a year.

I think you should give me the free Flickr pro account because I need somewhere to put my travel photographs.

My main blog is http://ringzer.blogspot.com but I'm after setting up one to keep people up to date on my travels at: http://misguidedtravels.blogspot.com

As you can imagine, trying to read about someones travels without photographs is impossible, so I need somewhere to upload my photographs, and the free account wont be enough.

I'm heading away on 4th May, so need to get it set up soon. I'm going to Florida, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile and California for 2 months in total, so if you'd like to see how I get on, then give me the account.

I'd appreciate it if you could give me the account as it will allow you and my friends keep up to date on my travels.
