Terrifying and intriguing

June 09, 2004 at 12:12 AM

The new M3Power razor by Gillete is both scary as hell and cool at the same time. Everthing else I own has batteries, I guess my razor can too. But it kinda disturbs me that those three sharp blades are vibrating and I'm supposed to be touching my face with this. I've had trouble finding out exactly how the damn thing works, even from Gillete's website. Gizmodo mentions a review of the thing that... Continue reading

I'm in Dallas

June 08, 2004 at 11:34 PM

Talk about the longest two days ever. I could not be more exhausted. Christina and I are moving (have moved?) to Dallas from San Marcos (cough shithole cough) to pursue real careers in a real city. We started preparing for the move surprisingly early. We actually had a decent amount of stuff packed last week, and we took care of essentials like TV and Internet as well as useless crap such as electricity. So when... Continue reading

FCC should die

June 07, 2004 at 05:18 PM

Interesting article that I finally read after seeing links to it on Gizmodo and A Whole Lotta Nothing. I figured everyone else is reading/linking to it, so I should too. The CNet News article by Declan McCullagh discusses whether the Federal Communications Commission is or ever was necessary. He complains about overregulation and censorship. Interesting stuff.... More reasons to love NCAA Football 2005

June 04, 2004 at 11:14 PM

The anticipation continues to build. NCAA Football 2005 is being released on July 13th. I want this game bad. I can't wait, it's gonna be friggin' awesome. I love the game so much off-line, that I didn't play it online a ton last year. But they've added XBox Live support and other new features so I'll likely to be gaming against fellow human beings a little more often. Sweet feature I didn't hear about till... Continue reading

Lance Berkman named NL Player of the Month

June 03, 2004 at 01:02 PM

Lance was named NL Player of the Month for May. He's really been tearing it up lately, rebounding from a slow start. He batted .387 with 9 homers last month, and has his average up to .351 for the year.... Continue reading

I despise the state of California

June 01, 2004 at 10:53 PM

I can't stand the Lakers. California gets wiped out in 10.5 and in The Day After Tomorrow. (Which according to Tony Bruno is unintentionally hilarious.) And the topper, Dunstan over at 1976design.com tells a very interesting story of bathroom etiquette.... Continue reading
